Civil Rights Act of 2009?

In the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision in Ricci and other recent cases, there’s been increasing talk about a possible Civil Rights Act of 2009 — legislation designed to overturn a slew of court rulings perceived as overly pro-employer.

Last year, Congress introduced a similar proposal — the Civil Rights Act of 2008 — but it went nowhere. This one could be different.
