Ditch it?
Have you ever dreamed of ditching that desk job for your dream? I have! I’d try to figure out something to do with dogs — a dog day care, go back to school to be a vet tech, a serious dog walker and sitter… whatever works.
Read Ditching the Office for the Outdoors in U.S. News & World Report about someone who has done just that. He didn’t ditch the suit for dogs, but he did develop a successful second career that takes him outdoors and keeps him active.
What is your dream?

I’ve always said that if I wasn’t working in HR, I’d work at the local professional baseball or football stadium and help seat people. Or maybe in a casino! Haha, now that’s trouble!

Great article! I envy anyone that can follow their dreams. As a computer-savvy person who has almost always worked indoors, I would love to be outside more often. Hopefully this economy will pick up soon and those of us seeking work will find meaningful employment.

Hmmm. Good Question. I think I have a great job helping other people find jobs…but I would love to be a US Senator so I can work with others to help create positive change…or I would like to be an movie or tv actor. I know, pretty much the same job as a senator.
