This cracked me up. In the June 13, 2008 edition of The Week, they reported that it was a bad week for…
“Spell-check, after several Pennsylvania high school students had their last names changed in their yearbook by an automatic computer program. Alessandra Ippolito was listed as Alexandria Impolite, while Max Zupanovic was rechristened Max Supernova. Kathy Carbaugh’s photo appeared next to the name Kathy Airbag.”
My blackberry occasionally gives me hilarious suggestions for words or names I’ve miss-typed. I’ll start keeping track because they might crack you up, too.
P.S. When I spell-checked this post, Ippolito came back as ‘applet’ and Carbaugh came back as ‘cabbage.’
